Two LAUTECH Undergraduates, Secondary School Student Killed In Auto Crash

Two undergraduates of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and a secondary school students were killed in an auto crash  while four others are in a critical condition.

They were involved in an auto crash this morning in Ogbomoso.

An eye witness told our reporter that the incident happened around 8am at Aroje/Abaa, LAUTECH, along old ilorin road, Ogbomoso.

According to the witness who preferred anonymity, said the ash colour Camry car rammed into the body of an articulated lorry parked by road side while trying to avoid hitting a secondary school student which he eventually did.

He said further that “Timi who drove the car is alive while Seyi and Dr Sleem died on the spot, others were injured.”

 

One of the victims , was said to have been on suspension while the other one is a member of Students Representative Council.

 

It was also gathered the three of the victims are receiving treatment at the Institute’s teaching hospital while one with serious condition has been taken to Ilorin for intensive care.
