Two of operatives of South West Security Network in Oyo state Operation Amotekun from Itesiwaju LGA were on Saturday 23rd January attacked in Tede

A Communal clash between Ago Are and Tede which lasted for thre days claims lives properties worth millions of Naira

It was gathered that the age long battle was triggered over recent relocation of cattle market from Ago Are and other issues.

Amotekun Media office in a statement said the duo who were travelling to Ago-Are enroute Tede were brutally attacked without provocation.

According to the statement “They were granted free passage at Ago -Are end upon the explanation that they were from Itesiwaju LG and are on routine mission.”

“However, at Tede end some misguided youths attacked the operatives with guns, matchetes and axes.”

The statement affirms that though there was no loss of live but two operatives were severely injured and are in critical condition at the hospital

“Unfortunately, after this unprovoked attack and assault, our vehicles belonging to Itesiwaju Area Command was completely vandalised and damaged.’
