Three years of translation of a great dream into reality – this best describes the administration of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde in three years. Governor Makinde never relents in striving to meet the aspiration of the people, he indefatigably is imbuing the citizens with renewed hope, courage, freshness and enthusiasm, making them to live life in overwhelming happiness, through thoughtful and creative activities and programmes. In practical and developmental politics he is far ahead of his contemporaries.
We congratulate him on the occasion of the third anniversary of his admnistration. For him, it’s not governance as usual; he refuses to tread the well beaten path of executive arrogance; he leads based on the needs of the people and not based on his own whimsical intuitions.
Governor Makinde is down-to-earth, focused and visionary. Bequeathing great legacies in the pattern of great leaders means so much to him. He has done so much in so short a time and that is down to the driving force of securing ineffaceable legacies in his time.
There are several legacy projects that have been completed or ongoing under his watch that will in years to come define his tenure – state-of-the-art bus terminals at Ojoo, Iwo Road and Challenge area in Ibadan; inter and intra-city roads; LAUTECH sole ownership; resuscitation of Crown FC and 3SC; extensive street lighting, massive building of bridges, renovation of stadiums etc. These are Iife touching and changing achievements that continue to endear him to the people.
We are particularly and eternally grateful to his Excellency for the massive re-construction of Soun Stadium and rejigging of the Club which is the reason for the current sterling performance of the Club in the Nigeria National League.
At Crown FC Ogbomoso we rejoice with the People’s Governor for his impactful strides and successful completion of three years in office in the face of humongous odds and wish him greater accomplishments.
The Club therefore wishes the Awise of your Oyo State more verve , knowledge and wisdom to continue in the uncommon transformation of Oyo State.
