Hon Bisi Oluranti Michael, Chairman Oyo state House committee on Culture and Tourism has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for his resolve to transform the tourism potentials in the state for economic benefits

The lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North constituency at the state Assembly also commended the international Tourism summit committee and all stakeholders for chatting a way forward in the sector

“The summit is a development that is long overdue, and thank God for the visionary governor of the state Engineer Seyi Makinde and all the stakeholders involved in the planning, they did excellently well, i cant wait to attend another edition.”

Speaking with journalists in her office recently, Bisi Oluranti as she is fondly called said annexing the tourism potential for economic development will help Oyo state grow faster and better

“This state is endowed with a lot of tourism potential, and if we make use if just few of them are developed,there will be more flow of traffic of tourists to the state and that will positively affect all sectors in the state.

“At the state assembly we will continue to align and give legislative backing to any idea that will enhance Tourism development, promote creative industry and boost internally generated revenue for the state.

She however congratulates the awardees and urge them not to relent in their effort to boost tourism and hospitality sector in the state.
