Tourism Group Lauds Fayemi,Wife for Reappointing Wale Ojo Lanre

Tourism Tentacles, a network of professionals in the Travel and Tourism Industry has commended Governor Kayode Fayemi and His Wife, Erelu Bisi, for appointing Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre as the Senior Special Assistant on Tourism Development to the Governor

Amb. Ojo-Lanre was the Director-General Council for Arts and Culture whose numerous contributions to the agency influenced its elevation to Ministry of Arts Culture and Tourism.

The group in a statement signed by the Coordinator Erelu Funmi Rotiba said the choice of Ojo-Lanre as SSA Tourism Development by Governor Fayemi is a good development as she expressed optimism that Ojo-Lanre will do his best in promoting and projecting the policies of Gov Fayemi on Tourism.

According to the group, “Wale Ojo-Lanre is a professional in media and tourism practice. His experiences in the field span over 30 years and we are confident that he would perform well and contribute to Governor’s vision in making Ekiti State a place of pride and preferred destination for local and foreign tourists”

While congratulating Amb. Ojo-Lanre, Rotiba said: “You are never a failure. Please use your new position to challenge other states in tourism development and economic growth we are optimistic about your performance.”

The group, however, pledged continuous support for Ojo-Lanre and other public and political office holders in charge of Tourism and Culture in Nigerian
