High Profile officer of the  Nigeria Police force ,Deputy Inspector General of Police DIG Joseph Obiajulu Egbunike is Dead

Egbunike who was untill his demise in charge of Federal Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) was said to have died on Tuesday night after he slumped and rushed to hospital in Abuja

Police source told National Insight that the late police chief was rushed to National Hospital Abuja where he was confirmed dead.

Egbunike who hails from Onitsha, Anambra State have served the Nigerian Police Force for 33 years

He was a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, with B.sc (Hons) Accounting, he also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons.), B.L. and a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy (MILD) and PhD in Criminology.

The astute financial manager is
a member of various professional bodies including: International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP); Association of National Accountant of Nigeria (ANAN); Nigeria Bar Association (NBA); Member, Institute of Cost Management (ICM); Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); and Member, Chartered Institute of Fraud Examiners.
