Eminent personalities from all walks of life converged at the Wheatbaker Hotel in Ikoyi, Lagos, to celebrate Olori Olaronke Oladuni Oyewumi, the wife of the 20th Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oladuni Oyewumi Ajagungbade III.

The dignitaries, in their separate remarks, paid glowing tribute to Olori Olaronke Oyewumi for her motherly role and for keeping the family intact since the demise of her husband.

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo, former Governor of Oyo State, High Chief Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Chief Akin Onigbinde, Professor Sola Adepoju, and Prince Tayo Adiatu, among others, joined the family to celebrate the matriarch of the Oyewumi family.

President Bola Tinubu, in a congratulatory message, extolled the septuagenarian for her humility, generosity, and commitment to serving God and humanity, and prayed for sound health and many more years for Ayaba Oyewumi.
