. The Polytechnic, Ibadan on behalf of the staff and students has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on the reaffirmation of his electoral victory as Governor of Oyo State by the Supreme Court, the highest Court in the land.

In a statement, jointly signed by The Rector Professor Kazeem Adekunle ADEBIYI and The Registrar Mrs Modupe Theresa Fawale, the victory of the Governor was described as a victory for the teeming population of Oyo State and most especially the civil servants who now wear permanent smiles on their faces.

The statement noted that the victory of the Governor will further reinforce his commitment and determination to take Oyo State to the next level of unprecedented development.
The statement further said that the management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has already keyed into the laudable programmes of the Governor and will remain loyal and faithful in its commitment to the implementation of the dreams of the Governor in the education sector particularly at The Polytechnic, Ibadan.

The management prayed to God to give the Governor good health, wisdom, knowledge and understanding,guide and guard him as he steers the ship of the state to enviable heights.
