The Polytechnic Ibadan Appoints Femi Olalere as Acting Advancement Officer

The management of The Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo state, one of Nigeria’s foremost tertiary institutions, has announced the appointment of Mr. Femi Olalere as the Acting Advancement Officer of the great institution.

In the appointment letter issued and signed by the Rector of the institution, Profesor K.A Adebiyi on August 1, 2020, the appointment became effective August 1 2020 is expected to last till July 31, 2021.

With this development, Olalere will be responsible to the Rector for the day-to-day running of the Advancement Office of the institution.

In his role, he would also be saddled with the duty of teaming up with some other members of the institution to assist in attracting grants, donations, endowments, scholarship and goodwill that would further contribute to the growth and development of the Institution.

Until his appointment, he was a lecturer in the Department of General Studies of the great institution.

While expressing his appreciation on his appointment, he thanked the management of the institution for finding him worthy to take up such an important role promising that he would serve with the best of his abilities to take the citadel of learning to greater height.

“I am highly excited about this appointment. It is a great call to serve. I promise not to let the institution down and would approach the tasks ahead of me with all the attention it deserves”, he said.
