Residents of Alaro and Idi Ito Community in Sango area are now living in palpable fear of being attack by hoodlums over the death of a guy simply identified as Sala.

Sala was stabbed last week during a fight which ensued in the area and he was rushed to University College Hospital UCH where he eventually gave the ghost

On Wednesday morning , when his corpse was brought to the Alaro community there was tension as the boys went on rampage.

This forces shop owners to close their shops and major entrance if many residential apartment were shut

The two communities were deserted as people are afraid to move around until security operatives started paroling the area to calm the tension

A shop owner who spoke with our reporter said ” There has been tension in the area since last week, there was am attack and counter attack by group of boys suspected to be cultists”.

This is a community where we have larger population of students those that fought are indigene and not students, and anytime such things happen, they use the opportunity to attack people and loot shops that is why every body closes shops’.

We were relieved when we saw the police and other security agencies patroling the area and they tried , i leanrt some people have been arrested by me of operation burst.
