Mogaji Joseph Tegbe, Peoples Democratic Party Candidate in Oyo South Senatorial District has lament the death of Hon Segun Popoola a member of Oyo state House of Assembly.

Hon Popoola who until hia demise represented Ibadan South East Constituency 2 died on Tuesday evening at the University College Hospital Ibadan

Tegbe on a statement said “it is with a heavy heart that I received the news of the passing into glory of a brother and a patriot, Hon. Ademola Popoola, the lawmaker representing Ibadan South East 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly.”

“The death of Hon. Popoola at this time is very shocking, to say the least, as he was recently given the nod to seek re-election on the platform of the PDP based on his satisfactory performance in the last 3 years. No doubt, he was a vibrant and competent lawmaker who discharged his duties efficiently, especially as the Chairman of the House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
