The Senatorial Candidate of the PDP for Oyo South Senatorial District, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe joined Islamic faithfuls across Oyo state to grace the Maulud Nabbyyi programme organized by the League of Imams in Ibadan North-East Local Government which held at the Iwo Road Central Mosque.
At the event, the Islamic leaders noted their concerns about previous representatives being unaccessible.
They however commended Mogaji Tegbe for his support for Muslims over years, including packages for religious leaders and the downtrodden during Ramadan and Ileya celebrations.
In his response, Tegbe assured them that he’d be available, accessible and useful when elected as Senator. Among other things he intends to do as Senator, he pledged support to pilgrimages, and also a bus for the League of Imams.
In support of the programme and other activities of the group, Mogaji Tegbe made a handse donation and pledged to always support them in the future.
