Ogun Central senatorial aspirant, Hon. Dr. Olamide Davies Talabi, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the successful completion of Ramadan, urging Nigerians to uphold the enduring values of sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and unity as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr.
In her message, Talabi described the holy month of Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-restraint, and renewed devotion to humanity. She noted that the lessons learned during the fasting period should not end with the celebration but should continue to guide daily interactions, governance, and community development.
She called on the people of Ogun Central and Nigerians at large to embrace peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and collective responsibility, stressing that national progress can only be achieved when citizens put aside differences and work together toward a common goal.
According to her, Eid-el-Fitr presents another opportunity for individuals and leaders alike to recommit themselves to justice, equity, and service to the people.
Talabi further emphasized the need for leaders to prioritize the welfare of the masses, noting that responsive and people-oriented leadership remains key to addressing the socio-economic challenges facing the country.
She assured constituents of her unwavering dedication to championing policies and initiatives that will promote inclusive growth, youth empowerment, improved infrastructure, and sustainable development across Ogun Central.
She also used the occasion to encourage acts of charity and kindness, especially toward the less privileged, reminding citizens that the true essence of Eid lies in sharing, love, and lifting others.
She urged well-meaning individuals and stakeholders to extend support to vulnerable groups, thereby strengthening social bonds and fostering a more caring society.
While wishing Muslims a joyful and peaceful celebration, Talabi prayed for continued peace, stability, and prosperity in Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole. She expressed optimism that with unity of purpose, strong leadership, and collective goodwill, the nation can overcome its challenges and move toward a brighter and more prosperous future.
