The remains of late Yeye Janet Iyun Ajilore, popularly known as St Janet, will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
St Janet, who passed away at the age of 53, is being mourned as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, colleague and friend whose life touched many people.
According to the burial arrangements released by the family, activities will commence on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, with a Christian wake-keep, candlelight procession and Artists’ Night.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at the AIT/Faaji FM compound, Kola Alagbado (Ilapo).
The following day, Wednesday, August 26, funeral rites will commence at 10:00 a.m. at her residence at No. 73 Asipa, Ijeba, Oke-Odo, Shoyoye, Abeokuta, where family members, friends, colleagues and well-wishers are expected to gather to pay their final respects.
Born in 1973, St Janet lived for 53 years. Her death has left family members, friends and associates mourning the loss of a woman remembered for her relationships and contributions to those around her.
Friends and family has described her passing as a moment of profound sorrow and total submission to the will of Almighty God.
