The Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, on Monday met with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, in Abuja to discuss key developmental issues concerning Ogbomosoland.
During the meeting, the monarch who was accompanied by a retired Permanent Secretary to the Government at Secretary General Office,Sir Olusegun Adekunle and others presented a 25-year development vision aimed at transforming Ogbomosoland into a model city.
According to the monarch in a post on his Facebook page, Senator Akume expressed keen interest in the initiative and explored possible areas of collaboration between the Federal Government and the Ogbomoso community to actualize the ambitious plan.
