President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated former President of the 4th Senate, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, GCON, on the occasion of his 65th birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman and patriot.
In a goodwill message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio commended Anyim’s dedication to public service, exemplary leadership, and enduring contributions to Nigeria’s growth and democratic development.
He noted that Anyim’s stewardship as President of the 4th Senate helped lay a solid foundation for the legislature in the Fourth Republic, adding that his tenure as Secretary to the Government of the Federation between 2011 and 2015 was marked by quality service and impactful achievements.
Akpabio, on behalf of his family, constituents, the 10th Senate and the entire National Assembly, rejoiced with the elder statesman as he marks 65 fruitful years, wishing him more healthy years, peace, joy and continued fulfilment.
