The Ogbomoso community, founded in the 17th century, is the third-largest city in the Southwest region of Nigeria after Lagos and Ibadan, with over 275 towns under the rulership of the Soun of Ogbomosoland.

“Ogbomoso is not just strategically located, but blessed with rich natural and human resources that can change the economic landscape of Oyo State and the country at large,” Oladele added. “As sons and daughters in the diaspora, we are leading by example, replicating our success in America back home.”

The convention promises to be a landmark event, bringing together the government, traditional leadership, and the vibrant Ogbomoso community to chart a course for the comprehensive development of their beloved town.
