Sir Olusegun Adekunle Congratulates Dr. Saka Balogun on Appointment as Balogun of Ogbomosoland

A retired Federal Permanent Secretary, Sir Olusegun A. Adekunle, Esq., OON, KJW, has congratulated Dr. Saka Balogun on his recent appointment as the Balogun of Ogbomosoland by the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege III.

In a statement issued in his personal capacity, Adekunle described the appointment as a “well-deserved recognition” of Dr. Balogun’s decades-long service, leadership, and dedication to the advancement of Ogbomosoland.

“I urge Dr. Balogun to use this new and noble position to drive further development in Ogbomosoland,” he said. “His experience and influence will be instrumental in uniting efforts for the betterment of our people.”

Adekunle expressed optimism that Dr. Balogun’s reign as Balogun would herald an era of “greater prosperity, unity, and happiness for all sons, daughters, and residents of Ogbomosoland.”

He further noted his role as a member of the Ogbomosho Consultative Council, where Dr. Balogun serves as Co-Coordinator, highlighting the importance of collaborative leadership in the town’s development.

Adekunle, who is the Immediate Past President of the Ogbomosho First Community Initiative (O-First Group), also serves as the Deputy Chancellor of the Ogbomosho Anglican Diocese and is a Knight of John Wesley (Ogbomosho Diocese MCN).
