Sigvent Industrial Cluster Limited has reaffirmed its commitment to transforming Ogbomoso, Oyo State, into a major investment destination through industrial development, job creation and improved community safety.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Benjamin Onigbinde, stated this while outlining the vision behind the industrial cluster project located along the Ogbomoso-Ilorin Expressway.
Onigbinde said the initiative was designed to create community wealth, generate sustainable employment opportunities and promote a safer environment through increased economic activities.
He described Ogbomoso as a premium investment destination, stressing that the company was committed to developing an industrial ecosystem that would support businesses, attract investors and improve the local economy.
“We’re building an ecosystem. Ogbomoso is a premium destination for investment, and we’re keeping it SAFE — Secure, Accessible, Functional, and Economically viable. Sigvent Industrial Cluster is our intervention to move from advocacy to innovation,” he said.
The Sigvent CEO explained that the company’s industrial development model was anchored on community wealth creation, with small and medium-scale enterprises positioned around major industrial operators to stimulate economic activities and strengthen local businesses.
According to him, the establishment of factories would generate opportunities for ancillary businesses, including packaging, transportation, food vending and technical services.
“Our model is Community Wealth. When a factory opens, it needs packaging, transport, food vendors, and technicians. Our SME factories are deliberately clustered around anchors so that wealth stays within Ogbomoso.
“Jobs are created, youth are engaged, and safety improves because economic activity brings security,” Onigbinde added.
He noted that the clustering of industries and supporting businesses would help retain economic value within Ogbomoso while creating opportunities for residents, particularly young people and small business operators.
The management said the project was part of its broader commitment to moving from advocacy to practical innovation by creating an enabling environment for industrial investment and sustainable economic growth.
Sigvent Industrial Cluster Limited subsequently called on investors, manufacturers and small and medium-scale enterprise operators to partner with the company in advancing industrial development and economic opportunities in Ogbomoso.
The company urged interested stakeholders to “Engage, Invest, and Collaborate for African Growth,” describing the industrial cluster as an opportunity to promote enterprise development and community prosperity.
The project is being driven under the company’s guiding philosophy, “From Advocacy to Innovation.”
