Senator Buhari Flags Off ICT Capacity Training Building in Saki

Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial district at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly on monday flagged off ICT capacity training building for scores of youths in the Senatorial district.

The Five day training which was facilitated by the Senator from National Iinformation Technomogy Development Agency NITDA was held at the Oke Ogun Polytechnic Saki

Declaring the training session open, the All Progressives Congress APC Lawmaker said the essence of the training is to further exposed some of the youths in the region to oppurtunities in ICT.

He said the training is part of the scheme initiated by the federal government to reduce unmployment and boost economy through ICT

” After the training, participants will be given tools, I pad and startup capital which will assist them in exploting oppurtunities in the ICT.

The lawmaker however urged them to be more proactive and make use of the oppurtunity to acquire more knowledge in ICT and use whatever skill they acquire to positively influnece their community.

Some of the beneficiaried including Olayinka Alao and Kunle Adetunji commended Senator Buhari for facilitating the trainning and the Federal government for creating that window through NITDA .
