Senator Buhari Facilitates Training on Digital Economy for Artisans in Oyo

About  180 artisans participated in the just concluded 10 days training on digital economy facilitated by Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, Chairman Senate Committee on Land Transport

The training which part of the efforts of the Federal Government to boost digital economy was held at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology LAUTECH Ogbomoso had participants drawn from all the local governments in Oyo North senatorial district

They were taking through the rudiments of phone repairs, trading in accessories and other related issues for economy independent.

The training which was organized by National Information, Technology Develoment Agency NITDA was Packaged by Microban Standard Communications Ltd

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Senator Buhari said expresses satisfaction with the feedback from the previous ICT training which he has facilitated for about 500 constituents.

” About 50 percents of participants from the previous training are actively using the knowledge acquired to their means of livelihood and that is why National Information Technology Development Agency NITDA increases the number of participants this time around because they are getting feedback too’ . He said

While urging the youths in Nigeria to take advantage of the ICT advance their lots the Ogbomoso born politician emphasised on self development through opportunities created the Digitai economy knowledge

Chairman Phone Technicians Association of Nigeria, Ogbomoso zone Mr Akintunde  Bashir while thanking Senator Buhari and NITDA for the training said “The opportunity will no doubt have positive impacts their businesses and promote digital economy
