The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari has thanked the his constituents for reelecting him to represent them at the upper chamber National Assembly.
Buhari who was declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday in Iseyin is the first Senator to win the seat for two time consecutively.
Speaking with Journalists in Ogbomoso where he was received by hundreds of supporters and party faithful, Buhari said the vote casted for him is an expression of love and appreciation of his performances as their senator.
” The people have spoken with their votes and i thanked them for their unflinching supports and the confidence reposed in me and i promise not to disappoint them”.
Speaking on the chances of APC in the coming election,the Chairman senate committee on ICT and Cybercrime said, APC stand a better chance of winning presidential,gubernatorial and house of Assembly election.
“APC is a party to beat, apart from the fact that we have a formidable party structure, the achievements of our party speaks volume and are far better than that of previous administration in the country.”
” He however urged the electorates not to allow financial inducements and fake promises by the opposition influence their determination to choose a credible and responsible leaders that will take Nigeria to the next level’.
While congratulating the winners of the National Assembly election in Oyo state, Buhari said they should see their victory at the poll as a challenge to offer good representation at the National Assembly and enhance development of the constituents.
