Senator Buhari Commiserates With Iseyin, Oke Ogun Muslim Community Over The Death of Sheikh Opeloyeru. By Semiu Azeez

Distinguished Senator Buhari Abfulfatai representing Oyo North Senatorial District has sympathised with family and Muslim community in Iseyin Local government over the demise of a great Islamic scholar, Fadilat Sheikh Abdulwahab Opeloyeru Olayiwola.

Senator Buhari described the death of the scholar as a great loss not only to the family and Iseyin local government area but to generality of people of Oyo North and Oyo State in general.

The lawmaker identified the deceased as a man of God, one out of thousands who spent the whole of his life in serving humanity and propagating Al-Islam.

While praying that God should grant Late Sheikh Opeloyeru eternal rest, Senator Buhari pleaded for his forgiveness as he called on Allah to reward all his good deeds with Aljanna Firdaous.

He further prayed for other Islamic scholars in Iseyin and Oyo North Senatorial District in general to live long in sound health and abundant blessing as enjoyed by Sheikh Opeloyeru whom the lawmaker described as a contented scholar.

Fadilat Sheikh Opeloyeru until his death was an Islamic cleric and Mogaji of Chief Imam of Iseyin Land, Olayiwola Compound, Atake, Iseyin.

The cleric joined his ancestors at the age of 97years after a brief illness and he was buried according to Islamic rites yesterday
