The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday.
Alli, in a congratulatory message on Monday, described the First Lady as a woman of uncommon grace, compassion, courage and commitment to national development.
He said her years of public service had demonstrated that leadership was not merely about occupying positions but using such positions to improve lives and promote the welfare of vulnerable Nigerians.
The APC governorship candidate particularly commended Oluremi Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Initiative, which, according to the State House, has provided interventions in areas including education, healthcare and support for disadvantaged Nigerians.
“On behalf of my family, the people of Oyo State and the entire APC family in the state, I heartily congratulate our mother, leader and First Lady of Nigeria, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, on attaining the remarkable age of 66.
“Your life is a testament to the virtues of service, compassion, resilience and unwavering commitment to humanity.
“All Nigerians can see the passion with which you have championed initiatives aimed at improving the lives of women, children and other vulnerable members of society,” he said.
Alli also acknowledged the First Lady’s advocacy for women and girls, saying it had reinforced the importance of inclusive development.
He described her record of public service, including her tenure as a three-term senator, as significant to Nigeria’s development.
“Your Excellency, your contributions to nation-building have transcended political, ethnic and religious boundaries.
“You have consistently demonstrated that compassion and service to humanity remain among the highest responsibilities of leadership,” Alli said.
The APC candidate further commended Oluremi Tinubu for her support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and her role in promoting the values of family, faith and service.
He prayed for many more years of good health, wisdom, strength and fulfilment for the First Lady.
“May this new chapter bring you greater grace, renewed strength and abundant blessings.
