Senator Akintunde Commiserates with Prof. Adeolu Akande on Father’s Demise

The Distinguished Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Professor Adeolu Akande on the passing of his beloved father, Pa Amos Adetunji Akande, who died recently at the age of 90.

In a statement issued to the media by Kunle Olatunji, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Senator Yunus Akintunde, the lawmaker expressed sympathy with Prof. Akande, his siblings, and the entire Akande family, while praying for the peaceful repose of Pa Amos Akande’s soul.

> “I join your friends and associates in expressing my sincere condolences to you, your siblings, and the entire Akande family on the passage of your beloved father at the ripe age of 90,” Senator Akintunde said.

“May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, and may the Almighty God grant you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”

Senator Akintunde further acknowledged the exemplary life and legacy of Pa Amos Akande, describing him as a community leader of repute whose contributions to humanity will continue to be remembered.

“I deeply feel your pain even as we give thanks to God for a life well spent and impactful. Papa’s legacy of values and service is evident in you and your siblings, and his memory will remain evergreen in the hearts of many.”

The Senator urged Prof. Akande and the entire family to take solace in the enduring legacies of their father, both as a committed parent and as a respected leader in the community.
