Scores Homeless as Rain Wreaks Havoc in Igbeti

Many people have been rendered homeless as scores of building were damaged by heavy downpour on Saturday in Igbeti, Olorunsogo Area of Oyo state.

The windy rain started which started late in the night was said to  have blew away roof of many buildings in the town and cause collapse of some old structure.

Adebayo Tawheed , an indigene of the  hilly town who spoke with our reporter said the number buildings affected were not much  and assured that the council chairman Hon Ogunrinde Williams will visits the affected place to ascertain the level of damage and see how they can assist
