A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Oyo State, Hon. Akinwole Akinwale has urged Nigerians especially the Muslim Faithful to always pray for sustainable peace and development of Nigeria
Akinwole, an Ogbomoso born entrepreneur and chairman of Ogbomoso United FC said “we can only thrive and function effectively as a nation when there is peace and progress and this can only be achieved through consistent prayer and sacrifices.
Akinwole who is an aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives in Ogbomoso North, South, and Oriire Federal constituency noted that Peace is the pinnacle of the Muslim paradise and the distinctive virtue of Islam is modesty.
“Let us be modest in our dealings, be our brother’s keeper, seek for the progress of others, and pray for our dear nation and our leaders, especially the traditional rulers and people at the helms of affairs. He added.
Akinwole, while requesting special prayers for Oyo state Governor Engineer Oluseyi Makinde and his team said Gov Makinde needs both physical and spiritual support in his conscious move to take the state forward.
“Significantly, Oyo state under his leadership is witnessing unprecedented developments in all sector and I am optimistic about his passion to transform Oyo state which he is already doing.
While congratulating the Muslim faithful on the eid el Kabir Festival, Wolekanle prays that Almighty Allah will reward and bless the post-festival season.
