
As part of activities marking the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, Royal Diamond Events Centre, in collaboration with the Oyo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Education, has announced plans to host the Children’s Leadership and Cultural Summit 2026.
According to the chief host, Pastor Akintola Fatoyinba( Dr Diamond), the summit is aimed at promoting leadership values, cultural awareness and educational development among children and youths in Oyo State.
The event is scheduled to hold on Friday, May 29, 2026, by 10:00 a.m. at the Royal Diamond Events Centre, Oke-Apo, Oyo Town.
The programme is expected to bring together students, educators, cultural enthusiasts and stakeholders in the education sector for interactive sessions focused on leadership, cultural heritage and youth empowerment.
Fatoyinbo added that the summit would also serve as a platform to encourage children to embrace positive values, showcase talents and appreciate Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity.
Several organisations and partners are supporting the initiative as part of efforts to contribute to child development and cultural promotion in the state.
The organisers urged schools, parents and guardians to encourage children to participate in the summit, describing it as an avenue for learning, networking and inspiration.
