In a united effort, two support groups are advocating for Hon. (Dr.) Abass Aderemi Oseni to become the next Governor of Oyo State in the 2027 elections, succeeding the current governor, Seyi Makinde.

The “Remi-Dotun Oyo 2027 Governorship Agenda” and the “OYO A ROSY 2027 MOVEMENT” have collaborated to enhance their outreach and mobilization strategies as the political landscape begins to shift in the lead-up to the election.

Highlighting Oseni’s achievements in his first two years as the representative for Ibarapa East and Ido Federal Constituency, the groups cited his exemplary performance as a reason for their endorsement.

They described him as an accessible leader who embraces diversity, welcoming people from all walks of life.

The groups also pointed to his generous contributions during the recent ILEYA 2025 festival, where he distributed over 600 rams, cows, rice, and significant cash donations to Muslim worshippers.

These acts of kindness, according to them, have strengthened his reputation within the community.

Oseni’s legislative efforts, particularly his initiative to establish a Federal Medical Center in Ido/Ibarapa East, have also received praise.

The facility is expected to significantly improve healthcare access for both his constituents and the wider population in Oyo State.

During a recent engagement at Lagelu FM in Ibadan, the groups shared their plans for mobilisation and distributed the “Oyo Newsfly Newsmagazine,” which offers insights into Oseni’s contributions and vision.
