Revd. (Dr.) E. A. Oladejo of the Ori Oke Baptist Church, Oke Taraa, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has admonished Nigerians generally to be conscious always of the fact that there is judgment after life based on whatever anyone does, either good or evil.

The Man of God gave the warning at the weekend in Ogbomoso during his sermon at the Funeral and Thanksgiving Service of Late Mama Comfort Abegbe Adegbite (90) who passed on in July this year. Many of his children and relatives converged on the Church and later gave her a befitting burial

Drawing from the Book of Rev. 20: 11, Revd Oladejo called attention of the congregants and indeed, Nigerians to the ultimate end where the picture of the throne is shown white, symbolising purity. According to him, “Many people cheat others, embezzle money, indulge in series of vices like Yahoo Yahoo and even Yahoo plus; engaging in ritual killings, armed robbery, sorcery, etc forgetting that there is judgment at the end of this world. Their names will not be found in the Book of Life unless they repent and be born again.

“On earth, many Judges do manipulate judgment, pervert justice, but they have forgotten that there is judgment. Today, they are Judges over some people’s cases. But one day, they also will stand before God who will judge them.

“In heaven at that great white throne, there won’t be manipulation or bribery. Lawyers can be used today to bribe any Judge, but Angels will not do so before God. Everybody will be judged before Him. Rev. 20: 12 says the dead, young and old were seen in the vision. Death can come anytime it is appointed for anyone”, he said.
