The Oyo State Commissioner of Youth And Sports Development, Honourable Seun Fakorede has charged Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso to be focused to getting the Ajilete Warriors promoted to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) at the end of the season.
The honourable commissioner who was at the Agege Stadium to see the Soun Boys in action against Stationery Stores FC in the week four match fixtures of the NNL felt delighted seeing his lads thrash the homers to victory.
The motivational speaker while addressing the players promised the commitment of the Oyo State government
of improved welfare package but charged the team to be more focused and never let the victory get into their head.
“I might not be physically present to watch all your games because of my very tasking schedule but I have minutes by minutes update of your matches and the pleasing behavior of your supporters and Im assuring you I will come to the Soun Stadium to watch you in action.I am impressed and the whole state is proud of you”..
“I am proud to tell you that His Excellency ,Engineer Seyi Makinde, the sports loving Governor ,is doing all things possible to make you happy. All arrangements have been concluded and very soonest you will have causes to smile”.
” I implore you to justify the kind gestures of His Excellency with brilliant results and ensure you get promoted. The whole state will be glad to see both Crown FC and 3sc get promoted to the elite division come 2020/2021 NPFL Season” the youngest commissioner in the Pace Setter said.
In his response, the General Manager of the team, Mr Rollanson Odeh appreciated the commissioner for coming with such goodwill messages.
‘ I am happy and I think the whole team is happy seeing you,my honour. Sir, your coming alone is a form of motivation to us and I assure you we will make the state proud’.
