Hon. Segun Dokun Odebunmi, Chairman House of Reps Committee on Information, National Orientiation, Ethics and Values has called on Muslim faithful in Nigeria to pray for total cleansing and healing of the land against the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic and its like in the Nation
Odebunmi representating Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal constituency also admonished them to guide against any thing that may further enhance the spread of covid 19
“While we are observing the holy month, let us ask Almighty Allah to wipe away all form of pandemic and give us peace in all areas of our life.
” It is quite unfortunate that mosques and other places of worship have been shut down all because of COVID-19, that is why we need to pray to God for quick recovery and cleaning’
“Let us also remember the healthworkers , security agents and other stakeholders in our prayers”.
The All Progressive Congress APC chieftain who expresses optimism in the power of prayer says ” consistent prayer will change the situation , let us keep praying”.
Hon Odebunmi also urge Muslim faithful to show love and be kind to the people in their neighborhood ‘ Ramadan is a season of love , let us show love and be kind to people around us because it is only with love that our nation will move forward.
