A group of protesters on Monday stormed the Appeal Court in Abuja, asking the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal to stop the inauguration of the President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The coalition of civil societies urged the court to stop May 29th Inauguration, on the premise that there are still several pending issues involving the APC candidate.

The protesters carried placard with various inscriptions which reads ” Do not Swear in Tinubu, he didn’t get 25%in FCT, Remember Tinubu’s Dual citizenship and perjury, A candidate that did not meet constitutional requirements  must not be sworn in as Nigeria president,

After a brief moment of congregating outside the Court of Appeal building, security operatives were able to disperse the protesters, even as processes continued inside the tribunal
