A legal ICON  and one of the major actors in  Nigeria ,chief Bamidele Aiku is dead

Chief Aiku  a life bencher dies at the age of 81 during a brief illness

Aiku a principal partners of Bandele Aiku and co was called to English bar in 1963 and became Senior Advocate of Nigeria SAN in 1990

He was born in August 18n 1936 in Ijebu-Jesha in Ori Ade Local Government area of Osun state

Between 1975 and 1977, Aiku served his country in the then Western and old Oyo states of Nigeria as commissioner for lands and housing and later commissioner for works and housing; and between 1977 and 1979 as attorney-general and commissioner for justice.

The details of his death is still scanty as at this moment but some of  his colleague in the profession are already mourning his demise on social media

Former Attorney general and commissioner for justice in Oyo state Mutalabi Ojo who posted the information on his facebook timeline said ‘

Chief Akin Onigbinde  SAN, a former speaker of Oyo state House of Assembly said ‘There goes a man, whose life can be summed up in one word: Excellence.
