Evangelist Moses Korede Are, the founder of Calvary Drama Ministries and a key figure in Nigeria’s gospel drama industry, died early this morning in Ogbomoso after a prolonged battle with liver disease.
Known for his dedication to spreading Christian messages through drama, Evangelist Are produced many notable films, including Owo Blow, Igbeyawo Aiye, Oro Ika, Gba Mi L’owo, and Emi Mi M’oke. His films addressed themes of faith and morality and reached audiences across Nigeria and beyond.
He collaborated with notable figures in the gospel drama industry, such as Evangelists Mike and Gloria Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries, Pastor Lekan Asikhia, and filmmaker Femi Adebile. His works and partnerships helped to build a strong foundation for gospel drama in Nigeria.
