The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has approved the reopening of registration on compassionate grounds for students with outstanding deficiencies spanning the 2018/2019 to 2024/2025 academic sessions.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the institution’s Public Relations Officer, Mogaji Soladoye Adewole, on behalf of the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Olufunto Ojewumi.

According to the statement, the initiative is aimed at providing affected students with an opportunity to rectify issues that prevented them from completing their registration processes within the stipulated time.

The management urged all eligible students to regularise their status and complete their registration formalities on or before June 30, 2026, stressing that failure to comply may result in the permanent loss of studentship.
Describing the gesture as a rare opportunity, the institution emphasized that the deadline would not be extended.
