The pastor dismissed Dakolo’s allegation as false and subsequently stepped down from the pulpit after calls for the case to be investigated mounted.

Embattled Pastor Fatoyinbo had last week given reasons for boycotting the panel set up by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) to investigate the matter.

He explained in a statement that he clearly told the leadership of the PFN, that he would not honor the invitation based on legal advice and that he would rather wait for the result of the police investigation into the matter.

His response came after the PFN declared the findings of its panel inconclusive due to pastor Fatoyinbo’s absence.

Fatoyinbo is being interrogated at Force Criminal Investigation Division (FCID) headquarters in Abuja by a team of four officers led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Adaku Uche Anya.
