PDP Youths Leaders In Ido Backs Sunday Ojedele’s (Oni Reason) OYHA Ambition, Warns Party Leaders Against Imposition

.Following the recent endorsement of Sunday Kashimawo Ojelade, a House of assembly aspirant, by the People’s Democratic Party, ward Chairmen in Ido local government area recently, PDP Youth leaders in Ido have also followed suit.

At a meeting with Oni Reason held yesterday the Youth leaders who were led by the Party’s local government youth leader Olodude Oluayo, who on behalf of the leaders expressed their total support for the emergence of Sunday Ojedele, assuring him of their willingliness do all necessary within the Party constitution to ensure that he becomes the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Ido State Constituency in the 2023 election.

Speaking further he said “Ido State Constituency has suffered terribly from poor representation, He asserted that not a single ward has felt the deeds of our present honourable member”

Ololude called upon the elders to stand by the truth, and not allow any form of imposition, he said” I call on the elders of our Party in Ido to stand for fairness and Equity, to stand against imposition of a candidate” he called on the elders to ensure a level playing grounds for all aspirants, stressing that imposition in a democracy can only promote disunity.

In his response Sunday Ojedele thanked the youth for their show of support, he indicated in his remarks that Ido is set for a Youth Revolution ” Ido Youth is set for a Revolution, a movement that will usher in prosperity and quality representation” Ojedele who is a graduate of Ondo State University further said ” I will ensure that the confidence the Youth has placed in me will be met with quality service delivery”.

Oni Reason expressed confidence in all the Party leaders in Ido and particularly the State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde describing him as a Man who believes in fairness and Equity to ensure that no candidate is imposed

Ojedele noted ” I believe our leaders are fair and will work against imposition of any candidate, I am willing to face anyone in a free and fair Primary and by the grace of God and the support of you leaders present I will win” he said.

Youth leaders who were present at the meeting included Andrew Okoegbo ward1 Saheed Owonikoko ward 2,Ismail Akinware ward 3, Monsuru Saheed ward 4, Aliu Olapade ward 5, Kazeem Alabi ward 6, Idowu Fajimi ward 8, Isiaka O’sure ward 9 ,Semiu Ogunmuyiwa ward 10 and Ward 7 youth leader is Otegbola Oyetola
