The court of appeal sitting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, has affirmed the judgement of the National Assembly election petition tribunal which had earlier ruled in favor of Senator Kola Balogun.

Senator kola Balogun of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP was declared authentic winner of the election last month by the election petition tribunal against the wish of the immediate past governor of the state Senator Abiola Ajimobi who was the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC. at the poll

He scored a total poll of 105,720 while Ajimobi scored 92,218.
