The lawmaker representing Ibadan Northwest / Southwest Federal Constituency, Hon. Stanley Adedeji Olajide, known as ‘Odidiomo’, has been conferred with ‘Most Innovative Committee Chairman of the Year (2023)’ Award.
The Award, which was presented to him in his office, on Monday, by the House of Representatives Press Corps, was in recognition of his outstanding exploit towards the development of his constituency.
According to the Corps, the lawmaker, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Cyber Security, was chosen as a result of his brilliant contributions to debates on the floor, deep knowledge of legislative business as well as immense support for the Media.
The Corps lauded the lawmaker for being steadfast in championing initiatives that provide scholarships, vocational training, and entrepreneurial support for young people in his constituency.
Speaking further, the Corps explained that Odidiomo, among his peers, stood very tall in practically developing and enhancing the welfare of the people of his Constituency through series of empowerment programmes.
Receiving the Award, Odidiomo appreciated the House of Reps Press Corp, saying he was delighted to be specially honored by the group.
The lawmaker added that the award will stimulate him to do more in the years ahead.
