Oyo Progressives Youths Celebrates Sunday Dare at 55

A group of Youth under the aegies of Oyo Progressives Youth has extolled the virtues of The Honorable Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Akin Dare on his 55th Birthday.

The group commended the Agbaakin of Ogbomoso land for his hard work, zeal and commitment to ensuring a
thriving environment for our Youth to flourish, through his numerous productive initiatives which has restored life back into the sports.

As a worthy representative, the minister through his determination and commitment to the advancement of the country established the first ever Nigerian Youth Investment Fund,
NYIF to encourage Youth Entrepreneurship, he equally Launched DEEL-(Digital Skills, Employment, Employability and Leadership), to create opportunities for Nigerian youth.

Also, he has Launched the WEP-Work Experience Program to provide the average Nigerian youth with practical skills/experience.

On Sports development, the group noted that Dare has facilitated the renovation of the Surulere stadium in Lagos, Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, and he is on the move to renovate Awolowo Stadium Ibadan.

Dare Introduced the ‘Adopt Initiative’, a program helping to develop sporting infrastructure and boost athletes welfare, furthermore, he has repositioned sports from recreation to sports as business.

To boost tech competence among youths, Sunday Dare Provided Digital Skills Training and Cerfication for thousands of Youth in the country.

These are some of the laudable Initiatives of the Ogbomoso born All Progressives Congress Chieftain

While wishing him the best of the rest of his life, the group also urged him not to relent in his efforts to contribute his own quota to the development of Oyo state and Nigeria at large.
