A popular philanthropist and international business mogul, Jubril Dotun Sanusi, has received commendation for his innovative approach to revolutionizing the transportation sector in Oyo State with the introduction of the state’s first electric bus.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS), Alhaji Wasiu Tomiwa Omolewa, popularly known as Tommy, expressed his appreciation to the Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland on Thursday during a visit with his executives to inspect the first electric bus at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort. He said:
“On Thursday, I visited Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort to inspect the first electric vehicle in Oyo State, brought in by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
” It’s undeniable that the world is advancing rapidly, and as a community, we must embrace progress in all sectors, including transportation.
“I was invited by Engr. Jubril Dotun Sanusi (Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland) to inspect the electric bus at Ilaji Resort. Even for me, it was a moment of enlightenment, and I am amazed at the potential impact this could have on our state’s transportation system, especially given the frequent scarcity and price hikes of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS or Vehicle fuel).
“While there are still some limitations to its immediate implementation, efforts are underway to address these challenges, paving the way for a promising future. I eagerly anticipate the integration of this groundbreaking technology into our transportation system, and I can only envision a brighter future for Oyo State as we embrace this innovation.”
