Ahead of most anticipated first of its kind Youths Mega summit, The Oyo State People’s Democratic Party (PDP) under the umbrella of the youths wing, has inaugurated 21 Man committee to host a mega summit in Ibadan, ably chaired by Prince Adebowale Falana.
While addressing newsmen shortly after the inauguration process, the Oyo State PDP youth leader, Honourable Micheal Ogunsina disclosed that essence of the inauguration is to constitute a formidable, effective and productive youths that will plan, organise, direct, coordinate 2022 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) unprecedented mega summit, focused to shake the whole of Oyo State and as well serve as a forum to strategize ahead of the 2023 general election.
The essence of the youths summit is also to brainstorm, strategies with a specific goal for the re-election bid of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde (FNSE) accelerated development in Oyo State beyond 2023.
” It’s also aimed at finding various ways to entrenched our democracy with a way to give youths proper engagement, a limelight in politics and development of our State and Nation at large.
The composition of the 21 man committee were choosen across the 14 federal constituency in Oyo state, viz;
Prince Adebowale Adebayo Falana (from Ibadan North) —the committe Chairman
Mr. Adegboya Stephen (from Ogbomoso South) —the Committee Vice-chairman
Princess Diekade Olayinka (Kajola) — Secretary
Hon. Wahab Dauda Temitope (Oyo federal constituency) — Publicity Secretary
Azeez Saheed Akinkunmi (Akinyele/Lagelu)—Member
Ogunbowale Niyi (Ibarapa Central/North) —Member
Azeez Sharafudeen Biafra (Surulere/Ogooluwa)— Member
Ganiyu Kamaldeen Greatkamal (Ibadan Nw/Sw)— Member

In his acceptance speech, the committee Chairman, Prince Adebowale Falana
appreciate good step taken by the articulate youth leader, Honourable Micheal Ogunsina for his magnanimous spirit to constitute a strong and formidable youths in the pace setter State.
He further used the medium advised the youths across the 351 wards to attend the summit, promised to project the interest of the state, as well as to say a job well done for His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde and his cabinet member towards rescue the state from extinction
The summit remain a sole mobilisation across the state to showcase the good governance of His Excellency and to relaunch his second term ambition beyond 2023.
