Oyo Obidient Leaders Storm Southwest Conference in Lagos

The Oyo State Obedient executive, led by Ayo Akinyemi, on Saturday attended the Southwest Obedient Conference in Ikeja, Lagos.

The event was organized by Hon. Seyi Showumi and aimed to unite Obidient leaders from across the Southwest region.

Akinyemi commended Showumi for his efforts in organizing the conference and called for all Obidients in Oyo and the Southwest to unite in preparation for the 2027 elections.

Keynote speaker Dele Farotimi emphasised the need for Nigerians to advocate for the reform of the Electoral Bill, stating that such changes are crucial for achieving electoral success in 2027.

In his remarks, the National Leader of the Obidient movement, Dr. Yinusa Tanko, urged attendees to collaborate in delivering Peter Obi’s vision and creating a New Nigeria.

The conference concluded with a strong sense of purpose among the participants as they look ahead to the upcoming elections.
