Part of the building that housed the state office of National Union of Road Transport Workers Union NURTW at Olomi area of Ibadan has collapsed
The incident happened on Saturday and no casualty was recorded
A residents who spoke with our reporter said ” Nobody was around when it happened, we just heard a loud bang and by the time we realized what was happening part of the building was already down.”
“They need to get a building Engineer to check the causes of the incident before erecting another building on the land because it could be structural problem from the foundation”.
A member of the Union who don’t want his name in print told our reporter that ” Work will soon commence on the building ” I trust the leadership of Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde, he has taken action immediately and very soon we will invite people to come and commission a newly built ultramodern edifice as secretariat.”
