Alhaja Sarah Aduke Konibaje was received amidst pageantry, druming and support by market leaders in Oyo
Leading in the endorsement of Alhaja Sarah Aduke Konibaje were Market Traders associations, Babaloja of Ancient Oyo town Alhaji Nureni Alade, the Iyaloja of of Oyo town Alhaja Kadijat Bakare, Iyalaje of Oyo Alhaja Ajibike Omowumi.
Others were Iyaloja’s from the four local government and Babaloja’s from the four local governments.
The endorsements was at an enlarged meeting of the traders associations held at Oroki area of Oyo town where Alhaja Sarah Aduke Konibaje was a special guest.
Addressing the trader leaders associations the Iyaloja of Ancient Oyo town Alhaja Kadijat Bakare said the cluster market groups were in total support of Alhaja sarah Konibaje because she is a trader with decades of experiences.
She added that the traders of ancient Oyo town dissociate itself from any other person parading herself as iyaloja general of the state.
The Iyalaje of Oyo town Alhaja Ajibike Omowumi while addressing the cluster traders association stated that the traders were in line and in support of the due process that nominated Alhaja Sarah Konibaje.
She urged governor Seyi Makinde to confirm the nomination of Alhaja Sarah Konibaje .
The Babaloja of Ancient Oyo town Alhaji Nureni Alade in his remarks stated that the four local governments in the ancient oyo land said they dont know Mrs Folasade Abeo as a trader .
He added that Governor Makinde should please approve the nomination of Alhaja sarah Aduke Konibaje .
Addressing the cluster groups the nominee of Iyaloja general of Oyo state Alhaja Sarah Aduke Konibaje said one love should continue among the traders .
Alhaja Konibaje added that the traders in Oyo zone should continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration especially with all opportunities making available to the traders associations.
The meeting featured special prayer, presentation of packaged gift and food items for the entourage of the Iyaloja general of Oyo state.
On the entourage of the Iyaloja general were the Iyaloja of Ibadanland Alhaja Olorunero, president Ibadan traders association Alhaji Dauda,Alhaji yisa Kolayode and Olori Atoke .
The Iyaloja general was later took aroud some markets in Oyo town
