The Chairman of Local Government Staff Pension Board, Oyo State, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige has extolled the leadership virtues of the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today.
Ige in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen on Monday, described Ambassador Arapaja as an exemplary political leader whose life has been devoted to public service and humanity.
He said that Ambassador Arapaja’s contributions to grassroots development, political stability, and community advancement in Oyo State and beyond have earned him enduring respect and admiration from people across divides.
Ige who is the Baameto Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland commended Arapaja’s commitment to peace, unity, and progress within the PDP family, noting that his wisdom and deep understanding of local politics have continued to inspire younger generations of leaders.
“Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has become one of the most sought after political leaders in the country with his rich political pedigree, he has become a pillar of political wisdom whose humility, discipline and consistent pursuit of the common good remain worthy of emulation.
Not only that, he is one of the most trusted allies of Engr. Seyi Makinde who has made meaningful contributions to the progress and development the state has witnessed under the leadership of Governor Makinde. Ige said.
Ige prayed that Almighty God grant Arapaja more years of sound health, strength, and happiness to continue serving the State and the country in higher capacity.
