The members of Oyo State House of Assembly, has on Thursday passed the State’s appropriation bill 2023 into law.

The 2023 appropriation bill passed by the House of assembly is to the tune of Three hundred and ten billion, four hundred and thirty two million, four hundred and thirty two million, five hundred thousand naira ( 310,432,500,000.00)

Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde had on November . 4th, 2022 presented a Budget of N310bn to the House for its passage.

The budget was passed at the plenary presided over by the Speaker of the Assembly, Adebo Ogundoyin, sequel to the reports of the House Committee on Public Account, Finance and Appropriation.

A sum of one hundred and fifty five billion, six hundred and seventy million, one hundred and thirty-three thousand, thirty four naira, thirty eight kobo ( N155,677,133,034.38) was approved for the recurrent expenditure.

On the other hand, One Hundred and Fifty – FourBillion, Seven Hundred and Fifty-FiveMillion, Three Hundred and Sixty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty- Five Naira, Sixty-Two kobo (N154,755,366,965.62) was approved for the capital expenditure
