He was aged 46
The lawmaker who represented Ibadan Southeast constituency II at Oyo state House of Assembly died on Tuesday evening at University College Hospital ( UCH ) after suffering from Kidney related disease
Popoola was the Chairman of, the Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters.
A family source who confirmed the incident said he was billed to be flown abroad for surgery before eventually gave up the ghost.
