Oyo Govt. Urges Contractors To Demonstrate Commitment On the On-going projects

The Chairman, State Committee on the Review of Contracts and Projects Engineer Adedamola Falade-Fatila has charged contractors handling various projects in the State to demonstrate commitment and seriousness to finish the on-going projects across the State in good time.

Engineer Falade-Fatila made this known during an interactive meeting with the contractors handling various projects which was held at Governor’s Office Conference Room, Secretariat, Ibadan.

He assured people of Oyo State that His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde is committed to quality infrastructural development across Oyo State, adding that, for the fact that many things have gone wrong, that was why the State Government set up the committee to review the on-going Projects and advise Government accordingly.

Engineer Falade-Fatila reiterated further that on -going projects in the State will be reasonably completed within the stipulated time saying that the best is yet to come.

He said the Committee had got clarifications from the Ministry of Works and Transport and the Contractors. He urged the contractors to go back to site to show commitment to the on-going projects, noting that, if they have justifiable claims they should put it forward to the Committee.

Present at the meeting were the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Transport, Engineer Olayinka Alli, other Directors from the Ministry and contractors handling road projects across the State.
